We’re seeking a Sourcing Engineer to own technical procurement and supplier strategy for prototype and pre-production programs. This role is built for a senior technical buyer who evaluates suppliers beyond price, understands fabrication constraints, and can drive sourcing decisions that protect schedule, performance, and cost.

What You’ll Do

• Own sourcing for prototype materials and components (metals/alloys + treatment processes, electronics components, engineered goods)
• Evaluate supplier quotations using technical judgment (capability, manufacturability, compliance, lead time risk)
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements aligned to cost, quality, and delivery targets
• Qualify and develop suppliers; identify alternates to reduce supply risk
• Resolve supplier issues (price, quality, delivery, invoicing) and manage schedule changes in ERP
• Maintain chain-of-custody documentation and supplier quality records (ISO/traceability environments)

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Science, or related field
• 5+ years in sourcing/procurement/supply chain for technical or manufactured goods
• Experience in ISO 9001 environments and supplier performance management
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and fabrication constraints
